Current Status

  • Database Browser is using rooObjy library which was developed to provide access to PHENIX Objectivity Database from ROOT.

  • ROOT GUI classes are used in the development of user interface

    ++ about 15 additional GUI classes were written, including:

    • image-map class ( similar to clickable image in HTML )

    • table-view class ( similar to Excel data-sheet )

  • The work on the Database Browser is in progress. This work will be continued at IHEP. Beta version expected to be ready at the middle-end of November.
