The hall is flooded and the preamps are wet.
Funding's on hold, so there's no beam yet.
AC's on the fritz, so the trigger's gonna sweat.
These are the PHENIX blues, on that you can bet.

The snow's piling up. There's a power dip.
The wires are a-breaking at a pretty good clip.
Too much background has caused another trip.
The DAQ's hung again. I can't get a grip.

ROOTing through the node tree makes me want to vent.
Why can't I find a thing in that event?
I should put my disk space up for rent!
