• 1. "Jet quenching" (hot & dense QGP):

  • Larger quenching @ 200 GeV (hotter medium) ?
  • Estimated exp. transv. momenta: (pT)max ~ 10 GeV/c
  • Signals: ch. hadrons, p0, g-tagged jets

• 2. Thermal radiation from QGP:

  • Real and virtual photons convey undistorted info on
  • the thermodynamical state (T) of the medium (EoS)
  • Thermal direct photons g, g* (e+e-, m+m- )
  • Signals: Direct photons, electrons &muon pairs

• 3. "Colour screening" (deconfinement):

  • Debye-screening in QGP ("onia" dissociation by hard g)
  • Quarkonia suppression: J/Y, Y', ¡
  • Signals: electron & muon pairs

• 4. Open charm & beauty:

  • D, B mesons enhancement/suppression ?
  • Signals: electrons, muons
