Periph. Au+Au: p/π ~ 0.2 = p+p (ISR,FNAL) & e+e- jet fragmentation
Baryon enhancement limited to pT < 4.5 GeV/c (h±/ π ~ 1.6, perturbative ratio): charged hadron and π0 equally suppressed at pT > 5 GeV/c
