Inefficiencies in Muon Tracking
- Chambers should be ~95-98% efficient. When a chamber is “inefficient” will lose signals on both cathode planes in a gap. Capability of turning on and dealing with in place, but tuning with inefficiencies has not been done
- dead electronics channels Capability of reading in dead wire list and checking whether a strip is dead in place, but cluster finding needs to be modified to deal with this.
- Loss of information: strips below threshold, overflow channels in ADC. Already included in software
- Extra information: noise, hot wires. Noise in place, not hot wires.
