• PHENIX DAQ pipeline architecture ? sample every event

• L1 latency = 40 beam crossings (~4 ms)

• Efficient for all signals of interest.

  • ? is hardest: low momentum daughters suffer multiple scattering, and stop early in the stack.
  • Other signals (J/?, ?',?) relatively easy.
