Major Milestones for Physics Software

• Fall 1997

  • All off-line computing done within the STAF framework

• Spring 1998

  • All current software fully modularized and all “public” data structures defined

• Fall 1998

  • Complete chain of “physics” software (including particle id and background subtraction). This leaves us one year to fine tune algorithms, develop alternatives etc.
  • “Mock” test of reconstruction facility at RCF

• Fall 1999

  • Ready to rumble
