Muon Identifier
- 5 gaps per arm filled with planes of transversely oriented plastic proportional (Iarocci) tubes
- 40 large and twenty smaller panels
- 3170 channels per arm
- Provides 10-2 of the overall 10-4 ?/? rejection
- Provides level-1 trigger pipelined at 106 ns
