Trigger/Reset coincidence: The preamp/integrator gets reset every 1K (2K,4K,8K) clocks. Since the trigger occurs randomly relative to the clock, it is possible that the two occur simultaneously, in which case the data returned would not be representative of the deposited charge, but of the bounces in the preamp/integrator caused by the reset pulse. To measure how often this occurred, we recorded the time of each trigger relative to the reset pulse. The vertical structure on the left hand side shows that we do occasionally get simultaneous triggers and reset pulses, but that this is very rare.
