   • detector configuration data
     These are configuration and partition descriptions, FPGA programs, downloadable constants (e.g. from calibs, for zero-suppression). The detector configuration data (approx 10Mb) needs to be retrievable by ONCS at startup in a reasonable (5 min) time, corresponding to 300 Kb/sec.

   • detector vital signs
     These are ONCS-type, real-time data. High and low voltages, temperatures, pressures and the like. Since this is real-time, data rates become an issue to be specified. Ancillary data flow in at a rate of approximately 2.3 Mb/day.

   • geometry
     The geometry needs to be available to the offline programs
