| Shown here are the mt slopes from NA44 for positive pions, kaons and protons for two symmetric systems. A simple thermal model is used to fit the data. Two of the fit parameters, the temperature and the maximum flow velocity, are strongly anti-correlated. Good fits can be obtained for temperatures between 100-150 MeV range. The fit shown uses T=140 MeV, and gives maximum flow velocities 0.6c for Pb+Pb, and 0.41c for S+S. |
