Phenix can do a day-1 measurement of pi,K,p mt slopes, and determine the
freezeout temperature at RHIC enegies - it will be about 140 MeV.
Analysis techniques involving simultaneous consideration of single-particle
spectra and Bose-Einstein measurement are promising and should be actively
maintained and developed. This would deliver results on fundamental freezeout
parameters on day-1.5.
Global fit models can be efficient intermediaries between data set and
theories. Work is continuing.
