Chris Pinkenburgs
 Home Page
My name is Chris(topher) H. Pinkenburg. I am currently employed by the
Brookhaven National Laboratory and
work for the Online Computing Systems Group of the
PHENIX and sPHENIX experiment at the
Relativistic Heavy Ion
Collider (RHIC).
Previously I've been a post doc with the
Nuclear Chemistry Dept. of the
State University of New York in Stony Brook and worked on the
E895 experiment. Going back further
you'll find me as phd student writing
the ultimate thesis about pion flow (in German)
and then post doc at the
FOPI Experiment at GSI in
Darmstadt. I've not allways done nuclear physics, after my masters thesis with
the KP3 at GSI, I
worked as a science teacher for a
street children schooling project in
Johannesburg/South Africa and had a look at heat transport in the north
Atlantic at the
Institut for Marine Research
in Kiel.
