 I am a physicist at
Brookhaven National Laboratory
and became part of the
PHENIX
collaboration at
RHIC
in 1996 after ten years of working on
Experiment 787
at the Brookhaven AGS.
I have worked in the
ONCS
group where I developed online data
acquisition and control software.
I was appointed "Deputy Project Manager" for electronic systems in 1997,
which meant that
I coordinated the building and testing of front end and data
acquisition electronics.
Twenty five years after I began graduate school at Harvard, twenty years after
I received my doctorate, fifteen years after I came to Brookhaven,
and five years after I joined PHENIX, I received tenure in the
Physics Department (hence the nifty photo).
Here are some
web pages I have made.
My resume
tells you about the physics I've done.
