The required accuracy demanded by the physics program of PHENIX/EMCAL can only be achieved by a careful calibration and survey of the detector. Thus the online EMCAL group has put a great effort on developing a set of software packages devoted to make the online calibration and to detect potential hardware or software failures. The TroubleShooter (TS) is one of these packages. It is responsible for surveying a set of EmCal objects (cells, sectors, processes, etc...) to see whether they are deviant from a norm or not. When a problem occurs, the TS rises an alarm, which can be further accessed through a graphical user interface (GUI), or sent to some clients that have requested to be warned in case of problem.
