Tools Needed to be Developed

1. A generator to put hard scattering and D-Y into RHI inclusive/central/ peripheral events with correct physics, with and without quenching.
   • What exists now?
   • Is Hijing sufficient?
   • Compare to existing data CDF, D0, UA1, UA2, ISR, FNAL fixed tgt
   • Evaluate impact parameter and associated E_T dependence of hard processes
   • Develop `hard-process' algorithms in the presence of RHI background
2. Fast MC (non-geant?) using library of correct (measured) shower shapes for $e/\gamma$ and charged hadrons injected into standard RHI event, with correct cross section.
   • High Energy Test beam required?
3. Cluster algorithm, $\pi^0$ algorithm, $\gamma/\pi^0$ algorithm
   • EM cal group [S. Bazilevsky, G. David, E. Kistenev...]
4. Electron (central); Muon (forward/backgward) algorithms, triggers.
5. General infrastructure for analysis,
   • Mixed events for background
   • Fast track finding (trigger) for high $p_T$ charged tracks
   • Acceptance calculations
   • Understanding the efficiency and resolution in the presence of the huge combinatoric background.
