title: | Transverse Dynamics at RHIC |
Dear Colleague,
It's less than 4 weeks before the Transverse Dynamics
at RHIC workshop and
we would like to
discuss few remaining logistics issues.
1) Lodging and Transportation.
If you need lodging and have not booked it yet,
please, do so as soon
as possible.
Our secretary - Cora Feliciano will be a contact
person for your housing
requests. Her email is feliciano@bnl.gov .
You can do booking yourself, via our web page and this
is preferred option
or Cora can help you out.
Available lodging options at BNL include dorms and guest
houses. Off site
housing is possible at Best Western but this option is
more expensive and
requires some means of transportation. More information
can be found on our
web page: http://www.phenix.bnl.gov/WWW/publish/rak/workshop/TDRHIC.html
In any case, please, send to Cora dates of your arrival
to and departure
from the Brookhaven Lab along with other relevant information,
like your
transportation needs - do you need a pick up at the airport
or you'll rent a
car, etc.
We can organize your pick up at the JFK or some other
local airport as well
as a drop off there at the end of the workshop.
But we need to know about this ahead of time.
2) Support.
Limited travel support is available and will be considered
on the case by
case basis - our budget is tight. Again, your primary
contact person is
Cora (please cc to: rak@rcf2.rhic.bnl.gov).
Please note that we can only reimburse air travel
on american
carriers. These are the DOE rules.
3) Talk, Agenda, etc.
If you haven't sent us abstract and title of your
talk please do so.
Visit please our registration page located at workshop
home site.
Please let us know if there are any other unresolved issues
concerning your
participation in the workshop.
Best Regards,
Roy Lacey, Sergey Panitkin, Jan Rak and Nu Xu
