xT scaling in Au+Au collisions

• From pQCD: , with n(s) = 6.3 (as in p+p data)

• xT scaling holds (for xT>0.03, with same power-law as p+p data ) for p0 (central & peripheral) and for h± (peripheral): hard-scattering-like √s dependence of yields

• xT scaling does not seem to hold for h± (central)  non-perturbative effects
