Hard scattering in A+A collisions

• Approach: Study modifs. (incl. spectra, partic. composition) of high pT production in A+A with respect to p+p, p+A to learn about QCD many-body dynamics:

  • “Quark Gluon Plasma” (final-state A+A) and/or
  • “Color Glass Condensate" (initial-state A).
