Hadron suppression: central AuAu (130 GeV)

• Strong suppression (from Ncoll scaling) in 0: RAA (pT=3.5 GeV/c) ≈ 0.25

• Less suppression for charged hadrons: RAA (pT = 5 GeV/c) ≈ 0.4

  • Significantly different behaviour than at lower energies: SPS Pb+Pb and ISR a+a (Cronin enhancement: RAA > 1 for pT > 2 GeV/c)
