Elliptic flow at RHIC

• Large v2 signal at RHIC:

• Exhausts hydro limit for pT<1.5 GeV/c

•  Strong (collective) pressure grads.

•  Large & fast parton rescattering:

• early thermalization.

• But(!) no significant increase

• between 62 and 200 GeV
