PHENIX Lead-Glass (PbGl) Electromagnetic Calorimeter (EMCal)

The assembly and cabling of the PbGl sectors of the PHENIX EMCal are now near completion in 902A as a result of efforts during recent visits to BNL by members of the Kurchatov Institute and the University of Muenster. The main task remaining is installation of the front-end electronics.

Pad_Chamber_Readout_Card_Picture		PC_FEE_Currrent_Electronics_Picture

		One full "Keystone" of Drift Chamber Electronics including four ASD/TMC cards (ampl/digitizer) and one FEM (trigger/readout manager). This set of links was successfully tested from input pulses to formatted data readout on Friday February 13 1998.

		North Muon Tracker Cable Tray -- There must be miles of cable tray in PHENIX, installed by many great BNL electricians (Frank, Gary, Mike, and others) over the past couple of years; this one by Mike Rau has a sweeping curve which will, unfortunately, be under the floor of the IR soon. It's another example of the pride people working on PHENIX have in their work and in what we have accomplished here.
